Breakfast is typically served between 7.30-9am in the dinning conservatory however we may be able to cater for earlier sittings by special request.
At Clarke Cottage Guest House, we are passionate about providing local produce of the finest quality. We offer a wide variety of cooked and continental breakfasts to suit all tastes and we cater for Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten Free diets.
A choice of cereals, toast, pastries, fresh fruit, yoghurts and home made natural yoghurt, as well as tea, coffee and fruit juice is available so you can be sure of a healthy start to your day.
We source the majority of our breakfast meats from the local Buffalo Farm at Bogily steading which is situated less than 12 miles from the Guest house.
The Buffalo farm has Scotland’s largest herd of water Buffalo who roam the hills at Clentrie farm Auchtertool. The Farm boasts a full butchery business and use Scottish Meat from many local farms to keep stock topped up.
For example the pork that is used for the sausages comes from Puddledub pork farm in Fife. The Buffalo farm also produce their own award winning Black Pudding and Haggis.
The eggs used in our breakfast are sourced from our own chickens, the Buffalo farm as well as Blyths of Kennoway so you are guaranteed very fresh free-range eggs each morning
